Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India’s longest-serving non-Congress Prime Minister, turned 75 today. Since taking office in May 2014, PM Modi has reshaped India’s governance with landmark economic reforms, massive infrastructure projects, welfare schemes touching millions of lives, and decisive foreign policy moves that boosted India’s global stature.

3. Ujjwala Yojana: Provided free LPG connections to women in rural households, significantly enhancing clean cooking access.

4. Abolition Of Article 370: Revoked Jammu and Kashmir’s special status on 5th August 2019.

5. Abolition Of Triple Talaq: Eliminated the instantaneous practice among Muslims, seen as a stride toward uniform civil laws.

6. Scrapping Of Old Laws: Repealed 1,450 outdated statutes out of 1,800 identified, enhancing regulatory simplicity.

7. Jan Dhan Yojana: Extensive financial inclusion with millions of bank accounts opened.

8. Saubhagya Scheme: Achieved universal household electrification; over 2.86 crore homes electrified.

25. Mizoram’s First Railway Line: Bairabi–Sairang project worth around Rs 8,070 crore linked Aizawl to the national network.

26. Digitization Of Ancient Manuscripts: Launched a portal to preserve intellectual heritage and prevent piracy.

27. Patna (Bihar) Infrastructure Boost: 55,000 km rural roads, electrification, housing under PMAY, Vande Bharat express, sewage and water systems.
