Outrage is sparked when a Pakistani spokesperson "winks" at a female journalist during a briefing.

Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, Pakistan's Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations, has drawn criticism for winking at a female journalist at a news conference. When a journalist questioned Ahmed about his accusations against the imprisoned former prime minister Imran Khan, he winked.
The incident's footage, which showed Pakistani journalist Absa Komal questioning General Ahmed during a press conference, also went viral. She accuses him of misusing the power in Pakistan and challenges him for calling Imran Khan anti-national.
Ahmed was questioned by her for referring to Imran Khan as a "national security threat," "anti-state," and operating "at the hands of Delhi." "How is it different from the past, and should we be expecting any future developments related to this?" she inquired.

Ahmed added a fourth point, "zehni mareez" (mental patient), while winking at the journalist. Hindustan Times was unable to independently confirm the video's legitimacy.
