Bollywood's Mr Perfectionist Aamir Khan's PK remains one of his most successful movies. Released in 2014, Khan played the titular alien. Helmed by Rajkumar Hirani, PK received widespread acclaim for its bold commentary on sensitive topics. Well, according to the latest report, Khan and Hirani are planning a sequel to the blockbuster. Reports suggest that the duo will team up for PK 2 after wrapping the Dadasaheb Phalke biopic.

PK 2 On Cards?

Recently, it was officially announced that Aamir Khan will be teaming up with Rajkumar Hirani for the biopic of Dadasaheb Phalke- The father of Indian Cinema, after the release of Sitaare Zameen Par. Well, a recent exclusive report by Pinkvilla suggests that after wrapping the biopic, the duo will start working on the sequel to PK.

A source shared with the entertainment portal that while Hirani was working on the script, Khan was simultaneously involved in developing multiple scripts including Char Din Ki Zindagi and Andaz Apna Apna 2 with Rajkumar Santoshi, Kishore Kumar biopic with Anurag Basu, Ujjwal Nikam biopic with Dinesh Vijan and a film with Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, among others. He also discussed a biopic on Gulshan Kumar with Tushar Hiranandani and Bhushan Kumar. While Khan is committed to delivering content that would hit the bullseye and discussed multiple projects, he is all committed to the Dadasaheb Phalke biopic, revealed the source.

Ranbir Kapoor With Aamir Khan as Alien!

Meanwhile, Khan, Hirani and Abhijit Joshi have stoked on an exciting plot for PK 2. The source informed that after the Dadasaheb Phalke biopic, Khan and Hirani will revisit the plot, which organically leads to the sequel with Khan and Ranbir Kapoor, who had a guest appearance in PK, shared the source.

Further, the source added that RK is aware of the development and is excited to play an alien.

Well, fans have to wait for an official announcement about the same as Khan has already confirmed working on Mahabharat. Moreover, he is in advanced talks with Lokesh Kanagaraj for a superhero movie and the Ghajini sequel is also on the cards.
