After prominent Maharashtra politician Ajit Pawar died in an aircraft crash in Baramati, Maharashtra, on Wednesday morning, condolences flooded in from people of all political persuasions.
Ajit Pawar, the deputy chief minister of Maharashtra, and four other people perished when the jet carrying him crashed during the morning landing at Baramati airport. He was sixty-six. No one on board survived the plane accident, according to the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA).
