While addressing the closing ceremony of Sikkim's 50th anniversary celebrations, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced development projects in the state worth more than Rs 4,000 crore on Tuesday.
According to the officials, the projects include a wide range of industries, including infrastructure, connectivity, healthcare, education, power, urban development, the environment, tourism, and agriculture.
The goal of these initiatives is to hasten Sikkim's inclusive and comprehensive development.
According to the officials, the PM's visit represents the government's "continued commitment to the rapid and sustainable development of the Himalayan state" and is a significant turning point in Sikkim's golden jubilee year.
