The third and last leg of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's two-nation tour will begin on Tuesday when he arrives in Evian, France, for a two-day visit to attend the G7 Summit.
The Prime Minister will be formally welcomed by French President Emmanuel Macron upon his arrival.
PM Modi will take part in a working session on the topic of "Forging New Partnerships and Rebuilding International Solidarity" during the summit. Leaders of the G7, allies, and representatives of important international organisations, such as the World Bank and the African Development Bank, will attend the meeting.
Strengthening international cooperation, tackling global economic issues, and advancing sustainable development are anticipated to be the main topics of discussion.

Prime Minister Modi will meet bilaterally with UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer, and Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney on the fringes of the conference.
Additionally, he is anticipated to meet Donald Trump, the president of the United States. Later, President Macron will throw a lavish supper for the Prime Minister.
President Macron invited PM Modi to visit the French metropolis. India's involvement in the G7 Summit is indicative of its expanding impact on world affairs and its role in influencing conversations about important international issues. India is participating in the G7 for the thirteenth time this year, and PM Modi has attended the summit seven times in a row."India's consistent attendance in the G7 Summits is indicative of the growing acknowledgement of India's role and contributions in tackling global issues concerning peace, security, development, and environmental sustainability. According to the Ministry of External Affairs, "India has continuously brought the priorities, concerns, and developmental aspirations of the Global South to the forefront at the G7, international forums, including the G20 and the Voice of Global South Summit."
The White House has also confirmed that Prime Minister Modi and President Donald Trump would meet bilaterally on June 17 as part of the summit.
The two leaders are anticipated to discuss the status of negotiations on the proposed India-US trade agreement, which may be the first official economic agreement between two nations, according to a senior US administration official.
