In a landmark strategic meeting held at Circuit House, Cuttack, the Iconic Sports Federation (ISF)
unveiled a visionary roadmap to transform Cuttack District into a leading sports powerhouse of
Odisha.

The meeting was chaired by Dr. Pravat Ranjan Biswal – President, ISF Cuttack District, Odisha
Chapter (Former MLA, Chaudwar–Cuttack). Under his dynamic leadership, comprehensive discussions
were held to strengthen district-level sports governance and produce maximum champions across various
sporting disciplines.

President’s Inspiring Address:
Dr. Pravat Ranjan Biswal emphasized that sports are not just games but a powerful movement that
builds character, leadership, discipline, and unity. He stated that Cuttack has a rich legacy and immense
sporting potential, and with collective effort, structured planning, and dedication, the district can emerge as a
beacon of excellence in Odisha. He urged all stakeholders to work with passion and commitment to
nurture young talent and create champions who will bring pride to the district and the nation.

• 8th March – Iconic Corporate Cricket League Final to be hosted in Cuttack.
• April – Iconic Sports Award (Cuttack District) to honor outstanding athletes and contributors.

Mr. Santosh Kumar Sahoo – Convener, ISF (Cuttack District), stated that sports guide youth toward
positive thinking, discipline, and national pride. He emphasized that Cuttack District has immense
potential and with structured planning and leadership, it can produce champions at state and national levels.
