Rahul Gandhi addresses the family of the Maharashtra doctor who committed suicide and promises justice.

Rahul Gandhi, the leader of the opposition in the Lok Sabha, assured the family of a female doctor who allegedly committed suicide in the Satara region of Maharashtra on Wednesday that he would support their call for justice.
A week after the incident, the doctor's family expressed concern that evidence would be lost, so they begged Gandhi to advocate for the creation of a Special Investigation Team to look into the doctor's death.

Harshwardhan Sapkal, the head of the Maharashtra Congress, met the family at their residence in Kavadgaon village, Beed district, and Gandhi spoke with the woman's parents and siblings over the phone.

He promised to put pressure on the government to form a Special probe Team (SIT) to conduct the probe.
