Speaking about being a mother following her engagement to Vijay Deverakonda, Rashmika Mandanna "I am aware that I will have children."

Fans were certain that Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda's on-screen romance will translate into a real-life romance after witnessing their romance in films like Geetha Govindam (2018) and Dear Comrade (2019). The famous pair rejected all rumours for a long time. When rumours of their engagement started to circulate, netizens anticipated the same thing. However, when Vijay's team revealed that he and Rashmika are engaged, supporters were overjoyed! Rashmika is now promoting her upcoming movie, The Girlfriend, after the release of Thamma. The actor also talked candidly about her hopes of one day being a mother.

Rahul Ravindran, the director of The Girlfriend, talked about his kids in an interview with Gulte. Rashmika Mandanna revealed during the conversation, "Even though I'm not a mother, I already feel I am aware that I will eventually have children, and I am thrilled about it. However, I already have a deep affection for these unborn children. I want to give them my all. I want to protect and keep them safe. Additionally, I must be physically capable of fighting for them if I am to enter a conflict. That is already on my mind.

"I always had in mind that twenty to thirty is the time to put your head down and keep working, because that's what society has put in our heads," Rashmika said while discussing her future and the schedule she has set for herself. We must earn a living and possess our own funds. Between the ages of thirty and forty, I realised that work-life balance would always be important, and I had to make sure that it happened. And I still haven't given it any attention at forty and beyond.

Vijay and Rashmika are reportedly planning to get married in February of next year.
