Todays 10-hour SIR debate, "Vande Mataram," and IndiGo upheaval will reverberate in Parliament.

As the airline attempts to resume regular operations, civil aviation minister Ram Mohan Naidu is scheduled to brief the Lok Sabha on Tuesday amid widespread IndiGo flight cancellations and delays. A day after Prime Minister Narendra Modi began the debate in the Lok Sabha, the Rajya Sabha will begin discussing 150 years of Vande Mataram.
On Monday, Naidu addressed the matter in the Rajya Sabha as well, answering a number of inquiries about the problem, ranging from reimbursements to flight roster regulations.

Important changes anticipated in Parliament today:
Manickam Tagore, a Congress MP, has filed a notice to suspend proceedings in the Lok Sabha, requesting that the IndiGo problem be discussed. The MP's submission accuses the government of "failing" to stop the unheard-of cancellations, sharp increase in airfares, and "harassment" that travelers endured.
On a day when more than 200 IndiGo flights were canceled in Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, and several other airports, Ram Mohan Naidu, who spoke about the airline's cancellations in the Rajya Sabha on Monday, will do the same in the Lok Sabha. In his Rajya Sabha speech, Naidu blamed the disruption on IndiGo's "internal system" and said the airline failed to identify any problems during a meeting on December 1, the day before mass cancellations started.
Rahul Gandhi, the leader of the opposition in the Lok Sabha, will kick off the much-needed discussion on the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process. The major debate in both Houses of Parliament has been scheduled for ten hours. KC Venugopal, Manish Tewari, Varsha Gaikwad, Mohammed Javaid, Ujjwal Raman Singh, Isa Khan, Ravi Mallu, Imran Masood, Gowaal Padavi, and S Jyotimani are among the other Congress leaders who will participate in the Lok Sabha debate.
According to news agency ANI, Union Home Minister Amit Shah is expected to start the SIR discussion in the Rajya Sabha as well. The opposition parties have been requesting a debate on SIR for months, with Congress alleging inconsistencies in the voter list.
After being discussed in the Lok Sabha on Monday, a discussion on 150 years of "Vande Mataram" will also be held in the Rajya Sabha.

PM Modi spearheaded the major conversation on Monday, praising the national anthem and outlining its anti-colonial themes. Weeks earlier, PM Modi and the BJP had accused the Congress of "sowing the seeds of Partition" by cutting specific verses from the hymn in 1937.
