TTPs fight us threat to Pakistan Army Chief Asim Munir: "If you had mothers milk"

In a series of films, the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) openly challenged Field Marshal Asim Munir, the head of the Pakistani army, and challenged him to face them in combat.
The videos contain terrifying images from an ambush in Kurram, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, on October 8. They display ammo, seized vehicles, and the scene of the attack, in which the TTP says 22 soldiers were killed.
The recordings are set against a backdrop of increasing airstrikes, cross-border conflicts, and civilian deaths.

Commander Kazim is seen in one video telling Munir, "Face us if you are a man." "Fight us if you have had your mother's milk," Kazim continues in the same video.

A reward of 10 crore Pakistani rupees (PKR) was announced by Pakistani officials on October 21 for information that resulted in Kazim's detention.

According to a district administration official, Kazim, who is from Kurram district, was also responsible for attacks on Shia-owned passenger cars and military convoys travelling to Parachinar.
Additionally, he is charged with planning Kurram Deputy Commissioner Javedullah Mehsud's killing.

Midway through October, hostilities were temporarily halted by a ceasefire negotiated by Qatar and Turkey. Islamabad, however, maintains that the truce will only be maintained if Afghanistan takes action against armed groups that operate from its territory, such as the TTP.

Last week, Mullah Yaqub Mujahid, the Islamic Emirate's defence minister, headed a group to Qatar for negotiations. Both parties declared an instantaneous ceasefire agreement following several hours of talks with the Pakistani delegation, which was headed by Defence Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif.

Since 2023, the relationship between Pakistan and Afghanistan has deteriorated. Islamabad has frequently voiced worries about extremists launching cross-border strikes from Afghan territory.
Following several TTP terrorist assaults, including one that recently occurred in the Orakzai district of the unstable Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the situation deteriorated. Eleven military men, including a Major and a Lieutenant Colonel, were killed in this incident.
