22 TTP terrorists are killed by Pakistani security forces in KPK following a suicide attack in Peshawar.

In an intelligence-based operation in northwest Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, Pakistani security forces killed 22 terrorists from the outlawed Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), according to the Military Media Wing on Tuesday.
According to a statement from Inter-Services Public Relations, security forces carried out the operation on Monday in response to an information report regarding the presence of terrorists in the Bannu district, which borders north Waziristan.
"The troops successfully engaged the Khawarij location during the operation, and 22 Khawarij were killed after an intense fire exchange," it stated.
The state refers to terrorists who are members of the TTP as Fitna al Khawarij.
It also stated that in order to get rid of any remaining terrorists in the region, a sanitization operation was being carried out.

The ISPR added that security forces and law enforcement agencies would keep up their "full pace" counterterrorism operations in an effort to "wipe out" the threat of terrorism from the nation.
Shehbaz Sharif, the prime minister, commended the security forces for the operation's success and stated that they were making "major successes" in their fight against terrorism.
Sharif declared, "The entire nation stands with Pakistan's armed forces in the war against terrorism." "We are committed to eliminating all forms of terrorism from the nation."
Since the TTP ended its truce with the government in November 2022, Pakistan has seen an increase in terrorist activity, particularly in KPK and Balochistan.
