An ex-diplomat warns Pakistan of the "disastrous consequences" of the attack on Afghanistan, calling it the "blunder of this century."

Amar Jit Singh, a former Indian foreign service officer and the country's consul general in Afghanistan, has cautioned that Pakistan's recent moves could spark "yet another war," which could have catastrophic repercussions for the nation.

"Afghans are the most proud people who will die for you if you are their friend," he said, highlighting the tremendous independence of the Afghan people. However, they will teach you a life lesson if you choose to be their enemy, regardless of whether you are the USA, the Soviet Union, or the Great Britain Empire. His comments coincide with escalating tensions between Pakistan and Afghanistan following reports that Islamabad launched airstrikes against Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) leader Noor Wali Mehsud in Kabul, a move that Kabul condemned as a breach of its sovereignty."Can you imagine that just two days ago, Afghanistan denied visa requests of Pakistan's Defence Minister & three Generals of Army including DG ISI?" Singh also brought attention to a recent diplomatic snub. You are foolish to believe that they would give you even a little portion of their land if they are unwilling to grant you their visa."Karachi remains to be the Biggest Pashtun City in the World," he added, warning that the insurgency in Pakistan could worsen.Central Punjab is still firmly within the TTP's reach if they are present in South Punjab.

"I feel bad for the innocent lives that are lost or will be lost just to fill dollars in the coffins of greedy Pak Generals like Ayub, Yahya, Zia, and Musharraf to name a few," Singh added, expressing concern for civilians caught in the crossfire.
