Bangladesh is struck by an earthquake of magnitude 4.1.

Bangladesh was rocked early on Thursday by a minor earthquake of magnitude 4.1, which caused tremors in the country's capital, Dhaka, as well as other districts.
According to news portal tbsnews.net, which cited the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre, the earthquake struck at 6:14 am local time, with the epicentre situated in Narsingdi at a depth of 30 km.
No casualties or damage were reported.
According to the report, people in Dhaka and the adjacent regions only experienced a slight tremor due to the shallow depth of the earthquake.
The Daily Star newspaper claims that because Bangladesh is located at the meeting point of three tectonic plates—the Indian, Myanmar, and Eurasian plates—it is highly vulnerable to significant earthquakes.
Ten people were killed and extensive damage was caused by a bigger 5.7-magnitude earthquake that struck last month, primarily in the country's central regions, including Dhaka and Narsingdi.Due to its extremely dense population and large number of crumbling structures, many of which are located in the capital's historic district, Dhaka is regarded as one of the 20 most earthquake-prone cities in the world.
The area has a long history of strong earthquakes; between 1869 and 1930, there were five significant earthquakes that had Richter scores greater than 7.0.
