Following his passing on November 24, veteran Bollywood actor Dharmendra left the whole industry in sadness. Now, the reality singing competition Indian Idol 16 is going to remember the late actor in their upcoming episode, for which the makers have called his buddy and Dharam Veer co-star Jeetendra to pay him a tribute.

The promo for the next episode was posted on Sony TV's official social media website. In the video, the veteran actor can be seen becoming upset during one of the special segments dedicated to the late actor, Dharmendra. "Jeetendra ji has arrived to remember his friend," a voice says at the start of the promo.
This is followed by Jeetendra recalling Dharmendra and remarking, “Bhut hi nek insaan the, meri life main unka bahut bada contribution hai (He was a very kind person and made a tremendous contribution to my life).” Singer and rapper Badshah, who is also one of the judges on Indian Idol 16, was also spotted fighting back tears. This weekend, Sony TV will broadcast the episode.
Dharmendra and Jeetendra's bond Jeetendra shared the screen with Dharmendra in various films like as Dharam Veer, The Burning Train, Samraat, Insaaf Ki Pukar, Nafrat Ki Aandhi, Paappi Devataa and Hum Sab Chor Hain.
Jeetendra told the Times of India, "I don't have words right now to express the intensity of emotion in my heart!" in response to the veteran actor's passing. I've lost a friend who was more like a brother to me! Despite the fact that we haven't seen each other as much over the past few decades, our friendship has endured. An enduring bond that went much beyond the professional equation we shared as co-actors in the various films we made together. The times we shared shall live on forever in my heart. My heartfelt sympathies to his family and friends. RIP Dharam ji!”
About Dharmendra's death
The He-Man of Bollywood was hospitalized to Breach Candy Hospital owing to health difficulties in November. Fans were alarmed when news of the actor's passing appeared online on November 10. However, his daughter Esha Deol and wife Hema Malini stated that the actor was alive and healing. Later, the Deol family took the legendary actor to their family home in Juhu for rehabilitation. At the age of 89, Dharmendra passed away on November 24 and was cremated in front of his family at Pawan Hans cremation. The actor is survived by two wives, Hema Malini and Prakash Kaur, and six children, including Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol and Esha Deol.
