The appointment of Karthik Narain as Google Cloud's new Chief Product and Business Officer is indicative of the company's ongoing efforts to solidify its position in the enterprise technology and artificial intelligence markets. Narain replied by sharing Kurian's article and expressing how excited he was about his new position. "I am thrilled to announce the next phase of my career - I am joining @GoogleCloud as its first Chief Product & Business Officer," Narain said, following more than 25 years in the IT consulting field. "This is a fantastic opportunity to leverage Google's world-class foundational technologies and cutting-edge AI innovation with my experience with enterprise systems and business processes, as well as my engineering and product strategy expertise, to drive significant digital transformation." Narain was also welcomed to the team by Google CEO Sundar Pichai, who emphasised his leadership role in guiding the expansion of Google Cloud. Karthik Narain is who?
Karthik Narain was Chief Technology Officer at Accenture prior to joining Google. He was previously a Group Executive-Technology at Accenture, according to a Business World story. In 2005, he served as HCLTech's Vice President and Vertical Head for Automotive, Software & Platforms, and High Tech.

Narain graduated from Bharathidasan University in Tiruchirappalli with a master's degree in computer systems and business.
