Odisha intends to implement a darshan slot ticketing system at Puri Sirmandir.

In order to improve ease and expedite the flow of devotees, the Odisha government intends to implement a darshan slot ticketing system at the holy Shree Jagannath Temple in Puri.
Law Minister Prithviraj Harichandan announced the development on Wednesday, stating that the new system will be implemented soon. He said that the planned slot booking system and the current queue-based darshan system will both continue concurrently.
The minister stated, "Plans are being made to ensure that both queue darshan and slot booking darshan continue."The goal of the action is to provide hassle-free darshan. Those who reserve a time slot will receive darshan of the Holy Trinity while waiting in a designated holding area. This will go on in tandem with the "Dhadi darshan." The tender process for the air conditioning of the Nata Mandap has started, according to Harichandan.
Before being permitted to perform darshan inside the temple grounds, devotees who choose to reserve a slot will be housed in a different holding room under the new method. It is anticipated that this will lessen crowd pressure, particularly during busy times and holidays.Additionally, according to Harichandan, the slot booking feature would first be made available on a trial basis. "The slot booking darshan system will be implemented experimentally at first," he continued.
