Shiv Ratan Agarwal, the inventor of Bikaji, dies at age 74

According to family sources, Shiv Ratan Agarwal, the chairman and managing director of Bikaji Foods International Ltd., passed away in Chennai on Thursday morning.
According to the sources, the 74-year-old was sent to a private hospital in the capital of Tamil Nadu after complaining of discomfort, where he passed away.
They stated that he had been staying in Chennai because his wife had recently had heart bypass surgery and the doctors had recommended rest.
The Bikaji brand was started in 1993 by Agarwal, a resident of Sardulganj in Bikaner.
What started out as a tiny business developed into a significant food brand that is well-known both domestically and internationally, especially for "Bikaneri bhujia."Ashok Gehlot, a former chief minister of Rajasthan, expressed his condolences and said that the news of the well-known industrialist's passing was extremely upsetting.
"Bikaneri bhujia gained international fame thanks to the Bikaji brand. His passing is an irreversible loss. In a post on X, Gehlot said, "I pray for peace to the departed soul and strength to the bereaved family."
