Bollywood star Akshay Kumar may be spending Diwali with his family in London this year, but that doesn't mean his festivities weren't traditional. A video of Akshay and Twinkle Khanna ringing on Diwali at the temple with their kids Aarav and Nitara was shared on the official BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir Instagram account.

In the video that the temple shared, Twinkle is wearing a pink suit, while Akshay is wearing a cream kurta. The management is seen escorting the couple through the temple while their kids follow. Akshay even appears to be explaining something to their son Aarav at one point."It was a pleasure to welcome renowned actor and philanthropist @akshaykumar with his wife @twinklerkhanna and children this afternoon to celebrate Diwali at @NeasdenTemple," the temple administration wrote in the post that included the video. "During these joyous days, the family joined thousands of people from the surrounding community who came to the Mandir to experience inner peace, sincere devotion, and introspection," they continued.

Twinkle also shared photos of their Diwali with fans prior to their temple visit. In the photos, she is seen eating an orange and giving one to Akshay. "Diwali in London," she commented, sharing the photos. Not a single mithai in sight, all suited up. Thus, sharing some vitamin C-rich deliciousness and acting like oranges are the new laddoos.
