All of the people of Babapur, Lakshmanachanda Mandal, Nirmal district, Telangana, have agreed to send their kids to government schools rather than private ones.
The choice was reached after a number of community gatherings where locals talked about their village's educational future.
After extensive discussions in the panchayat, the villagers—mostly from the farming community—passed a resolution requiring all of the village's children to attend government schools. Government schools, according to the villagers, can give kids a good education.Village Sarpanch Padigela Lakshmi stated, "Quality education is essential for the development of both children and the village," adding that more students will improve the standard of government schools and encourage their expansion.

She also emphasised that government schools are crucial in providing middle-class and impoverished families in the isolated Telangana village with a high-quality education, and she commended the experience of government school instructors.

Education experts and locals have praised the villagers' choice, saying it might serve as a model for other villages in Telangana.The effort is seen as a powerful statement in favour of community involvement and government education in bolstering public institutions.
