In Kesara village, which is located within the boundaries of Sorada police in the Ganjam district of Odisha, a group of individuals attacked a young person on Monday, critically injuring him. Suresh Panigrahi has been recognised as the wounded party. He was reportedly on his way home from a store last night when the incident happened. A number of people allegedly surrounded and physically attacked him during the attack, which took place in a remote part of the village.According to reports, as soon as locals heard about the tragedy, they hurried to the scene and saved Suresh, who was seriously injured. After receiving initial care at Sorada Community Health Centre, he was eventually transferred to MKCG Medical College and Hospital in Berhampur due to his detoriate condition.
Although the precise cause of the attack has not yet been determined, initial suspicion points to a potential connection to an old grudge. According to reports, there have been gang conflicts and battles in Kesara village in the past, and authorities believe that the most recent attack may have resulted from a former feud.
Soon after the occurrence, locals alerted the authorities, and a team from the Sorada police station reportedly arrived on the scene and began an investigation.
